Re: One knob to controll two send knobs.

Thanks for the tip, I tried that device but it didn't really seem to work.
I'll figure something out, someday

Yes, the control situation is fixed. But now I have the problem that when both knobs are at 50% there is a 12dB volume drop.

One knob to controll two send knobs.

Hi there, Situation: multiple audio/miditracks and 2 return tracks, one with a 100% wet verb and one with nothing on it I want to be able to switch between the sends with one knob. So if I turn up sendA to the verb return, the sendB knob should go down. What I have now is a midifx rack with two maxL...

Sound to me you're just playing in a low octave. Most orchestral instruments don't cover 8 full octaves.

Re: Newbie - Drum Rack Questions

Why not just drop an "insrument rack" on the pad you want multiple samples on and drop the samples on the instrument rack. They will all have their own simpler and play on the same key :)

Great, thanks.
Just found my answer in the Faderport manual. Live is completely supported, even plugin automation. I need this thing fast

Re: Looking for one motorized fader controller.

Yes, I was aware of the faderport but I am more curious about the feedback Live can give to a motorized fader.
Will Live auto-adjust the fader when clicking on other tracks for example?

Looking for one motorized fader controller.

Hi there, I'm looking for a one fader controller with a motorized fader that will react to live. I've got an APC40 but I hardly ever use it since I don't compose in the clip editor anymore. So what I basically want is one fader that automatically slides to the volume of each track when I select it, ...

Re: Automatic tracknames from audiofiles.

Thanks but I don't plan on buying a €200,- program to rename my tracks.
I know my way around MAXMSP but I don't see the use in Live tbh.

Therefor, my request still stands :]

Automatic tracknames from audiofiles.

I'd love an automatic track rename option that copies the audiofile name.
I just got a multitrack with 96 channels to mix in Live. The problem is I can't see what's what if I'm in the Session(mixing) view. Extremely annoying.

Found it, page 183 in the manual. I should really try that neat little book more often when I need something

Is there a way to record several clips with two midibuttons?

Hi there,

I'm wondering if there is a way to record clips with just two buttons.
I found a way to flip through the clips (midi learn and use the little arrows that appear on the master channel) but I can't get clips to start recording (yes I have the track armed)

Is this even possible?

Thanks :)

Re: select "Momentary" or "Toggle" for MIDI Note Mapping

I want to turn a device on with a nanokontrol button. It's just a 'hold' switch now, is there any way to turn them on with a press and then turn it off by pressing again?

Re: Limit an incoming signal, possible?

It's already on 'Low'. The mic input screen shows its nicely limited but somehow ableton amplifies the signal.
Hence the question of how I can limit the incoming signal :)
