nosorry, don't want no midi guitar. I thought there would be an idea how this kind of sound (not exactly, but in that direction) can be done with audio effects.

yeah, i use that a lot in my new electrojazz project, but I did not get to that breathlike sound so far. any suggestions for settings? a midi pickup is out of focus, sorry. if i want keys i play them on keyboards. ;-) and I would definately not put a fugly plastic pickup on my handcarved jazz guitar...

How can I get a sound similar to deep space (eic) w/guitar?

I'd like to build myself an effect setting to get a breathy pad sound from my guitar. the sound "deep space" from the eic is a good template to get an idea of what I imagine but cannot achieve.

any suggestions which effect or combination could give me that breathlike, aspirating quality?

thanks

I think Dr. evil found a way to make an Instant Piano, brought to live by watering it, but unfortunately they didn't find a way to digitalize that. Star trek fans can lay their hope on beaming, though.

Unfortunately there is not a Rhodes in the EIC, too bulky and heavy for the Live-Box. Anyway, maybe the sampled instrument in Instruments/Instrument Racks/Keys/E-Piano Mk 1 can give you an impression, how a Rhodes sounds like. You can use it in your songs, too.

Gerard, I second that. I was in the same situation for months, used live only to mix tracks from my acoustic jazz trio or if I had to 'cause I had to do commercials. Fatigue of Software Just recently we started a new project where I use live the way it was originally intended (I joined the boat back...

There are two very different groups of synthesizer users on this planet and they have totally different needs. Group A is the "preset group" and group B is the sound design group. The classical preset user wants a great variety of well organised presets and maybe a little bit of tweakability. These...
