Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping

OMG!!! Thank you for this! I was the one that originally asked if it could be done, haha. I will definitely be trying it out. 8) It was cool seeing people creating mods to browse presets, but I've never been a presets kind of guy. I love digging into the controls of my synths. I think this mapped to...

As an owner of a Little Phatty, I have to admit the Sub37 looks like its gonna be really sweet.

I'm not sure I understand. You can set one to be looking at 8 tracks (8x5 if APC40 / 8x8 if Push) and then one can move around independent of the other.

Re: Push & APC40

I have used my APC40 and Push in a few live sets so far so i hope i can shed some light. In their default modes, APC40 and Push have independent "boxes" of each other. For example, I could have my APC40 focused on tracks 1-8 while Push manipulates tracks 7-12. So, navigation between the 2 is indepen...

Re: Soft synths?????

+1 for U-He Diva. 99% of my (non-drum) sounds come from Diva these days. Everyone says it's only good for classic/analog-y sounds, but I disagree. It can sound aggresive/modern, but it does have a thickness (phat?) to it that i find my other plugins don't have.

Re: The End of Pad Color Hacking?

I am a part of the beta program and the tool is nowhere to be found. Even the Push beta forum has people asking where the tool has disappeared to. It looks like no one can find it anymore. :(

Re: does Push only work with supplied USB cable?

I can't find it anymore; but i think i read somewhere that for MIDI devices, a USB cable 3 feet or shorter is recommended to ensure power and data are properly transferred without interruption.

Re: Ok, ok, I ordered a Push (again)

Update: I got the calibration tool, and was able to calibrate the push so that it looks GREAT! (I was trying to run the calibration tool with Live running, which didn't work; running it standalone was the answer...) So I am a happy camper, for sure.... the matrix looks just like the ads.... Where c...

Re: do you have Live 32 or 64 bit?

I needed to switch to 64-bit because I recently started performing frequently. My master set that holds all of my song clips requires about 5GB of RAM to run smoothly. I also recently switched to 64-bit for producing, because all of the plugins i use are now 64-bit too.

I agree with manutech; I like the buttons the way they are. Why do you need to see them when your Push is off? Is it for User mode?

Re: Cannot find crossfade?

If you see the X-fade assign buttons, then the crossfader itself is directly under the volume meter of your master channel.

Re: Soft synths?????

While Ableton suite has everything you need to really get started, I've never personally cared for it's built-in instruments. The effects? Hell yeah, love em. But I always go to third party VST's such as Sylenth or Massive for my synths and bass sounds (for the most part). I really should learn to ...

Renaming parameter banks

I've only had my Push for a week and I'm already in love! I have been saving parameter banks for my most used plugins and I love being able to jam with them without touching the computer. It would really help out to be able to rename the banks of parameters to aid Push navigation. Push is ...

Re: Reliable setup at minimum latency. Mac?

which sr, which buffersize are you using when getting 1 ms? was 64 ( at 44khz) and i was sêaking about output latency only , not input + output. I currently use a 2010 Macbook Pro to do live sets (with both clips and instruments) alongside my Saffire Pro 40 interface and get 2.61 ms (output only). ...
