Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers

Does Push make a high-pitched sound that changes according to the LEDs used? Because the APC40 does, and to me it ruins the device for home recording. I realize not all units make the same amount of noise, but the ones that I've dealt with do. Even a very subtle high-pitched hiss is too much I thin...

Re: Hands on experience with 2012 imac?

I've heard the fusion-drive can make the system unstable over time because frequent transferring of files increases the chances of the files getting corrupt... But... I thing I'll go for it anyway :) I doubt you will have to worry about this in the normal lifetime of a computer. (You should be back...

Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers

Will it be possible to use the touch strip for parameters besides pitch bend and moving through a drum rack?

Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers

Will it be possible to setup push with session view in the top 8x4 grid (instead of the step sequencer), while still having the bottom-left 4x4 grid be dedicated to triggering samples (and maybe the bottom-right being used for session navigation)? IMHO I feel like that would be the ideal setup for p...

Yea the APC40 is definitely a win, but i think the real win is all of the outboard gear you've got there. 8O

Re: Post your set up and your sexy cat...

@rcpunker The bottom drawer handle broke of a while ago and now it's used for storing stuff that i need the least. @3dot Thanks for the advice. I didn't really think about phase cancelling; but right now i dont have any other stands for them so they can be ear-level, and the room i'm in isn't ...

Re: bitwig.. do you think they just wanted some grant money?

I heard about them a while ago but never really paid any attention; but after just seeing that teaser image, my curiosity has been piqued!

Re: Is this how its done?

You should (theoretically?) be able to set you buffer size much lower on 44.1 than on 192. I'm unsure about what is going on in your particular setup. And your computer has to work much harder to record something at 192 because it is taking more 'snapshots' of your audio in a given amount of time. h...

Re: Is this how its done?

What is your audio card buffer size set at? Have you tried adjusting it to achieve better latency?

Re: I think I'll buy an Ipad instead

BUYER BEWARE: I have no concrete proof on this so go to forgive me,but, I have the strong feeling my Apple products that run on the battery is loaded with an UPDATE from Apple that goes and sets my devices to run out on battery life way shorter than I first go buy it. Which then force me to buy a n...
