Re: rejoining live after 2 years
Not to mention the routing is phenomenal and group tracks, not to mention the addition of max for live which is incredible.

Re: D16 Silverline Group Buy.
I've had no problem with any of the d16 plugins with live on my Win 7 64bit PC, the previous WinXP PC or my OSX 10.6 laptop.
I own everything by d16 except the drum samples pack.

Re: Why so much time before fx on return tracks kick in?
Closest to a solution I've found is if your machine can handle it, set the fx latency in preferences to the lowest settings.
This makes the automation more accurate too.

Re: Can't freeze a track that has sidechaining?
Just an option of "Track x has links to track y, in order to freeze track x you must freeze track y too, do you wish to do this?"
Or the option of freezing the plugins before the sidechained data, so synth, amp, eq and then stops at the compressor.

Re: LFO Functioning, MIDI effect
Yeah, this stuff comes free with max for live, you don't have to make patches or anything. There are a large amount of API modifiers that come in the box with max for live.
Not to mention all the other great stuff, it's well worth your money even if you never want to go "under the hood" in max.

What the toilet is wrong with this??
so we know that send and receive objects talk happily with each other in different max objects in the same live set. So I thought I'd reverse engineer the max.api.Adial to work with a selectable receive source so that when I work with generative stuff I can use that same data to alter pretty much an...

For saturation I use URS Saturation.
Really nice but might not be what you're after.
The free plugin ferox is also good.

Windows 7 x64
Hi guys, I've got a few USB soundcards on win7 x64 and even with the right drivers I have to crank the latency just to get it to not pause or throw artifacts into the sound. It does it on Renoise AND Live. So I'm thinking maybe it's my USB bus. hing is I've been looking for an affordable < £400 soun...

Re: Advanced Piano roll , sequencing features.
Totally... Ableton has some great features but does seem to lack a lot of midi tools. However the midi side is *relatively* new so hopefully they'll look into that. I mean, of course if you have max for live and know max well then you have the most flexible sequencing engine ever but not everyone wa...

Any 8.1.5 experiences?
Better? Worse?
Just wondering because 8.1.3 was fine on mine and when I put 8.1.4 on it started crashing again.
Worth the move?
