maybe having a shaded or coloured background? if it's within the range relative to the parameters' settings, then the background is one colour - if it's outside the range (for example, if you want to turn up a send that is currently turned down) then the background is another colour - but the area i...

I don't mind the unipolar / % style way it currently operates EXCEPT when you've already got clips on that track, then you want to add one with a clip envelope For example - if you have 4 clips on a track, then you make a new one and want to turn the sends up via clip envelopes - first, you have to ...

Please correct device playback after recording

When recording a performance I'd like to be able to add effects to any track during recording. After recording I'd like to play back the set and hear it like it was when it was being recorded. Currently it doesn't work this way, and I am told this is intentional, but I am finding this counterproduct...

hey, thanks again for your advice. Although this doesn't seem to work for me. It does extract the chain that the pad was triggering & give it a new rack on a new track, but it doesn't extract the midi notes & make a new clip. Is there a modifier key or something I should be holding when dragging? ch...

via one of the 3 file browsers below the Vst browser?

I think that might even be less efficient as it's further removed from where I'd expect to look - and surely hot-swap wouldn't work then?

Interesting that it actually works that way though. Thanks for the help

Device folders / management

It would be good to be able to put Racks inside regular device folders (eg, a beat repeat rack currently can't go in the beat repeat folder).

Just a minor gripe, though

features of Drum Racks when unfolding

...I don't know about how anybody else is using drum racks, but these 4 things would help me immensely: 1) When unfolding a Drum Rack in session view (to see the in-line mixer) having each sound or choke group displaying it's individual midi pattern as a triggerable clip. 2) To have a "Fold" button ...

a wish for Colour formatting...

(and yes, there is a u in colour) I kinda like the fact that each new clips' colour is random, but I'd like a little less randomness: 1. for every track to have a colour assigned (even random would be fine) 2. every new clip within that track could be created in a shade of whatever colour that track...

if the effect is on the same track as the original sound: turn the dry/wet knob to 100% wet if it doesn't have a dry/wet knob then it's a device that's already 100% wet if the effect is on a return: hit the "post" button to turn it into "pre" then turn down the volume of the track you're sending from

instead of mousing you can use the option/alt key and arrow up to the clip slot area, and arrow to the next clip.

this leaves your mouse/cursor in the same position, and just hit it to save the clip...

still a lot more laborious than multiple saves though

wish there was... maybe there is but I haven't found it only tip I can offer is: 1. to workout which track is clipping the most, and work out by how much. 2. put a Utility plugin on, and adjust the dB to correct the problem 3. copy that same Utility to every track ...but I hope I've been doing this...

Thanks Amaury! My version is 7.0.3 now so that should be cool I wasn't able to detect any problems with my amended racks, except that hot-swapping pads that contain racks (ie hot-swapping the "hits" within "kits") would place the new rack on a different pad - sometimes replacing another So I think I...

Thanks for the heads up Winston
