Re: VST Issue

There is no need to create a custom VST folder in this case as you are trying to use the folder that Live is already using as the default. To cut a long story short, copy your VST file straight into this folder and then either start Live or, if it is already open, click "rescan". your VST should now...

Re: Bass Bomb sync

Hi Jon, Without hearing the track it's hard to know why they might not be going together. There are some free tutorials here that cover reverb builds and also one about delays that might help you out : http://www.quantizecourses.com/pages.php/?cat=3 If you still can't get them to work together uploa...

Re: Bass Bomb sync

Hi Jon, I don't think I fully understand. If you have 2 MIDI tracks, each one containing an Operator you will have the MIDI clip for the build end as the MIDI clip for the bomb begins. Is this a problem with syncing LFO's? If you can provide a little more info i'll try and help you out. Best. Keith

Re: bouncing track with ext ints, but turning ext inst off?

Hi Sam,

You could map a key from your keyboard to all of the on/off buttons ready to turn them of in one hit. Save this as part of your default set and you're ready to go every time.

Hope that helps.

Re: Ableton flashing vertical cursor

Right click in the time line on the bar brace and un-check "set song start from here" that should solve it.

Re: Picking which drums to use

I find that Thomas Penton Drum Essentials contains some really high quality sounds and just sticking to a pack like that should provide you with best part of everything you need for drums. If you are trying to make a certain style/ genre have a listen to some tracks you like and try to describe each...

Re: File problem

Hi Arur,

Did you make the track in a more recent version than 8.1.3 and now you are using an older version for some reason? Not sure of your circumstances but this could be the issue.

Re: Gameboy Glitches and Synth Instrument Racks

Hi AfroDjMac,

Thanks for sharing ..... again :-)

I saw that you hit some kind of milestone, posting drums racks for a year or something similar (sorry can't remember exactly). Just wanted to say thank you for your efforts :-)

All the best.

Re: [Piano roll] Possible to change the order of the MIDI notes?

Hi Guys, If I understand you correctly..... 1. Open a MIDI and drop a MIDI effects rack into it. 2. Create a chain and then click on the key box just under the header. 3. Adjust the green bar so that it is only covering one key - lets say C1 4. Drop a Pitch effect (MIDI Effect) on to the chain and a...

Re: Multiband Dynamics

Absolutely!! It's very handy for things like de-essing. I also like to use multiple versions in a rack configuration to split frequency bands of a sound (electro bass, that kind of thing) and apply different effects to them : http://www.quantizecourses.com/pages.php/?p=895

Re: Automating track delay

As far as I know it's not possible to automate track delay but one work around is to ad a simple delay to the track, turn on link and change sync to time. If you now set the effect to 100% wet you can automate the time control to add delay in ms.

Hope this helps :-)

Re: Moving multiple cells from one drum rack to another

Hi Guys,

Just to clarify, i'm talking about dragging the samples into the big drum rack not the preset. In this case you can drag them onto the next available pads.

All the best.
