There's a "Special" magazine you can buy with loads of them. Google around you might get lucky. I think some are on Youtube thoug...

Basslines- Premade loops or starting from scratch?
How do you guys like to make a bassline?
Do you start from scratch? Or just take a loop and put your own spin on it?

How much time do you spend on your music in an average week?
I find it can be a bit hard with full time work so, At least 1 hour a day after work and on weekends about 5 hours each day. Approximately 15 hours all up, would like more time but thats about the best I can do. I'm still quite new to the whole production thing so most of this time is watching tutor...

Re: Help- How to maintain a stab sound
I will have check out "paulstretch" but is there a way to do it in Ableton.
Basically I just want to draw in the note of the sample after I have loaded it into an instrument then however long I make the note is how long it goes for.
Is there a way?

Help- How to maintain a stab sound
I have a stab sound from a sample pack I would like to use but I want the full stab sound to maintain for a few seconds instead of the split that it lasts for.
Is there any certain instrument or effect I can use to achieve this sound?
Thanks, Ash

Re: Slice to midi help...?
Ill Frequencies - It sounds like you are copying the MIDI clip, but not the associated rack that actually produces the sounds. Rather than copying clip B to a new MIDI track, why don't you just copy it to another slot in the same track - then it should play back properly. Otherwise, you need to cop...

Re: Slice to midi help...?
Don't understand what you mean by that. What is "this" in that sentence? When you slice to a new MIDI track, it creates a MIDI track for you that has a drum rack containing the pieces of your original audio clip. No need to put anything into a new MIDI track. Unless I'm not getting what you're tryi...
