but i think my problem is a different matter.
I feel like sound pressure builds up when i listen to certain sounds and frequencies... :(

I used to think that it was because of headphones but while working with a new track I´ve just used the MBPs speakers and still I feel the buildup! I have a non-hybrid MK3 on OSX 10.5.8 and well... its good, haven't had any problems with it and it sounds good...
not the best card I've heard but in most situations where i use it i probably wouldn't hear that much of a difference either way so...

its grate if you need the inputs :)...

Im in a situation where the main speakers are connected to a Digidesign 003Rack and instead of me plugging out the speaker cables and plugging them in to my soundcard, id like to be able to run my soundcard through the 003... is this possible? the AUX In of the 003 is already beeing used by an Apoge...

yes, variaudio is an audio function in Cubase. You can pitch to MIDI with the Pitch Correct plugin too, if you want to do T-Pain vocals, but I'd have to hunt you down and kill you for crimes against humanity ! Looking at the Props videos for Reason5/Record1.5 i wondered if there was a plug-in similar to the Neptune Vocal Synth.
