Re: more RAM = no more "out of memory"?

Thanks for your answers! Sooner or later I'll need a better laptop anyway, but I'm a bit afraid of spending around 2000$ for a good machine just to find out that it didn't help and Live is still crashing. What to do now? I mean I'm working on a track which I want to send out to some labels - but I ...

Re: more RAM = no more "out of memory"?

Hi Venom
As far as i am aware, Ableton will ony have access to 4Gb ram maximum, even under win 7 64 bit, it wont access any more until Live itself is 64 bit.

If it helps, I am running win 7 64 bit with ableton and dont have problems.

Also make sure that back to arrangement button is not highlighted, this has caught me out a few times in the past.

FS: Live Suite 8, Orchestral Instruments and Max4Live

Due to redundancy I am reluctantly selling the following;

Ableton Live Suite 8 (Boxed), Orchestral Instruments Collection and Max4Live.

I wish to sell these together, please PM me with any offers.

Best Regards

Re: How to cut a long/live perc recording in IN TIME loops ?

Easiest way would be to roughly chop the 16 bar section you wish to use in arranger view and then past it into an empty clip slot in session view. there you can set the start and end points and original tempo and adjust or add warp markers till its spot on. The Live reference manual explains it all ...

Difference between Resampling and Master input?

Hi all Appologies if this has been answered before but i can't seem to find any answer. Page 152 of the Live 8 manual talks about resampling of the master output by creating a new audio track and selecting the input type as 'resampling' and recording the results. Can anyone tell me what the differen...

Re: Dell Mini 10v (or other netbooks) and Live Looper?

I have a 10v. I'll be guinea pig and see what happens over the weekend if you want but i am not holding out much expectation to be honest. It might stretch to playing a youtube vid of Live working maybe :)

Re: Station: insane DIY MIDI controller

Thats exactly how i imagine Live to be in the future. Touchscreen giant ipad type display but with added physical knobs and motorised faders. mmmmmmmmm!

But then again I am still waiting for my hover boots that i was promised we would be riding about on now in 1972

Re: I can't choose "control surface input"? - APC40 doesn't work

Have you tried using any other device in your laptop PC port?
i would say the problem is a faulty USB port or corrupted drivers. If the port seems mechanically fine then maybe try reinstalling APC drivers if that is possible.

Hope that helps

That does look good and sturdy, like a scaled down version of the overpriced line 6 controllers
