Bias Pitchcraft EZ lag

I was wondering if there is a way to avoid the lag seemingly caused by the Bias Pitchcraft EZ audio unit? I would like to autotune vocals in realtime so the artists can hear the effects. I am having a lot of problems because it I am getting a huge lag even though my resource monitor is nowhere near ...

Re: Onslaught-Dark/Chill Dubstep

This track is great. It doesn't have the predictable kick snare, bump hit beat. I love it. How does one go about getting one of these dubstep bass sounds?

Remix for my buddy City

My buddy City (http://www.followthecity.com) wanted me to do a remix of his upcoming single. He is about to tour the UK, so that was my inspiration. Check out the song at http://soundcloud.com/lou-leaves-the-room/city-popstar-remix-master-by-llr-www-followthecity-com PS You can check out the origina...

Re: Analog License suddenly required for Live Set?!

I found the problem. The Bleep Pong library preset was created with Analog. I believe most of the Live Library Presets were created with either Analog or Operator. I have been using these presets that came with Live to create almost all of my sounds. Suddenly this Bleep Pong preset decided it needed...

Re: Been forever but I'm back with a Rap Track

Terrence, Thanks for the feedback. I know it's very hard to judge a rap without the rap. The rap should be coming along shortly. The rapper requested a hard fast beat that would rock a club. So hopefully that is what will come out in the end. While I live in the Dirty South, I just can't replicate t...

Re: Analog License suddenly required for Live Set?!

cotdagoo, thanks for the tip. I didn't install the demo though. I had a license ready to go. But when I first opened ableton, I noticed the extra SUITE instruments in the installed live packs in the library. I immediately deleted them from the Preferences menu before I created any sets. That was a f...

Been forever but I'm back with a Rap Track

So I have been working with a local up and coming rapper and his label. So I have been experimenting with a totally new genre for me. One of the guys wanted a Club Banger, so I went to the drawing board and gave it my best shot. I thought I might be able to get some honest opinions on this board, so...

Analog License suddenly required for Live Set?!

I have owned Live 8 for about 1 year now. I have created a lot of sets using Live, and for the most part have never had any issues. Suddenly I open a set that I created this past Sunday, and it won't allow saving because it claims I don't have an Analog License. In fact, I don't have an Analog Licen...

BIAS did me right

I recently switched from years of PC use to a MacBook Pro. Love it and will never look back. Sadly I had to leave behind a number of Windows VSTs. My favorite one being GSnap. It is free, but great. So I was on the lookout for a suitably cheap Mac replacement. After some searching around, I found Pi...

Re: Let's Dance - New track from LLR featuring City (with Story)

Alright, you guys convinced me. I need help mastering. I cant shake this cotton wall sound that keeps out the brightness. Thanks for the listens. It is quite a change from my previous work. But I always love trying new things, especially if someone is interested in performing the work. Hopefully I c...

H2Only that sounded great! I love the spoken rap and the acoustic guitar. It sounds like silversun pickups slowed down brought in a rapper.

Terrence, you are probably the best thing about the Link Your Music section. You listen to the tracks a give useful feedback. I wish more of the forum users took time out of their rants to take a listen to what folks are doing.

Re: Beyond Live 8 what's next really?

I would like to echo the need for a more powerful Sample editor. I get frustrated copying clips into the Arrangement view just to cut and splice and mute then freeze it to a new track. Also, a more powerful Freeze/Flatten feature would be greatly appreciated. I want to be able to freeze multiple cha...

Perfect. Felt like I was playing Super Famco! I think the Vocoder bit sounds fine.

Loved it! Too much delay?! That would be like too much cowbell! Never!

Do you mind a cranberries comparison, their first album?
