Let's Dance - New track from LLR featuring City (with Story)

So it seems that the Link your Music section was trashed in the Lounge section. One of the gripes was there is no story included with the track. I started this track because I met an artist named City while playing basketball. I found out he made music, and I said I made music. The big difference is...

The EP sounds great! I love tracks 1 and 4. Thanks for letting me collaborate!

Is this place a sausage fest or what?

It seems the vast majority of posts on this board come from men. Aren't any women using ableton? Since most of the music seems to be minus vocals, it is hard to tell when listening.

Re: Exporting recorded audio/song

You are probably in session view. Try doing the export in arrangement view.

Re: Trackdriver - "Winter Train Goodbye"

Counter beat is just a made up term. Perhaps synchopated rhythm would be better. I mean some small little rhythm that just appears and disappears throughout the track to keep it interesting.

This sounds great! I hope the album gels nicely. Are you going to sell it through CDbaby?

Re: Trackdriver - "Winter Train Goodbye"

i like the down tempo vibe. it sounds like a track off the ultra chill series of cds. did you sing the vox?

It does drag towards the end. what about a counter beat or some more textures on the beat?

Isn't that what "Freeze" is meant to accomplish?

What is you day job?

I'm always curious what all these musical "experts" do to earn money. Am I the only one with a day job?

To get started, by day I am an electrical engineer that does technical sales for a living. Sometimes I'm worried I might not be qualified to participate in this forum.

Re: Jeez. The LINK YOUR MUSIC section....

It seems the Link Your Music section could be greatly helped by a "Follow" button or a quick "Like/Dislike" feature. That way you can "Follow" artists you link, and quickly give everyone some feedback. The Link Your Music section is a bit of a wasteland, and as someone who has posted recently, it ca...

Re: My best produced song - Drum and Bass

If you are going for an awesome, slightly cheesy, synth pop sound, then it is great. I liked it quite a bit.

Re: a little remix

It sounds pretty cool. It does sound like I should be watching a honda zip across a field of flowers. I love car commercial music though. It is how I found the Polyphonic Spree.

Re: "Sit Right Here" by LLR

The collab is coming along. Still singing and tweaking. It should arrive soon. Thanks for the compliments on the current little ditty. I really like whistling solos. Per the mention of the snare in the track, it was just the snare in a default library kit. I could have probably tightened up the soun...

"Sit Right Here" by LLR

Here is the latest track from Lou Leaves the Room. Let me know what you think. This is really my only sounding board besides my poor friends who are definately tired of listening to LLR. http://soundcloud.com/lou-leaves-the-room/sit-right-here It's a pretty short track so wait for the whistling (sp?...
