if i ran two eq4's as steep low pass filters in serial (ie one after another..) and controlled the frequency on both with one knob does that make it a 24db resonant filter? would 4 in a row be a 48db filter? would 8 be (other than insane) a 96db filter? hmmmm.... low pass or do you mean low shelf? ...

Help me with my hiccups... Please!!!

This is not audio related. Seriously, Live is running fine for me.

It's literally my damn hiccups. On the odd occasion I get them, they subside within a couple of minutes. I have now been hiccuping for a straight 30 minutes. 8O

I'm going mad!!!!!! 8O :?

Would it be possible to have some sort of synth running as the "master", splitting the midi-signal from it into two, and syncing both machines to that signal? You could set one live machine as the master (turning on sync under midi/sync for the device you wish to send midi clock from) Then set the ...

Warp markers set up before, DEFINATELY! You want to be able to just drag and go pretty much. While auto-warp is fine, there is still sometimes adjusting to do, and anyway, it's nice to know that you've tried out the track and warped it accurately prior to playing it out. Well, it's not a hard and fa...

Re: OT - how do I play Win 95 games on XP ?

I've got two great games from my teenage years (quake and red alert), which I recently found at home. I tried to install them onto XP, but both are only compatible with Windows 95 (quake only loaded through DOS ever, and red alert tells me the system is not compliant when I try and install it). So....

Lacie's Cardbus Firewire card allows you to plug in a dc adaptor directly to the card such that you can use it to bus-power devices. he he, kind of counter productive really! hehe yeah true :P But... that's one adaptor to bus power a possibly multiple devices i.e. one could perhaps run the motu...

I'm sure that pcmcia firewire cards do NOT support bus powering solely off the laptops supply. However, as far as i'm aware, Lacie's Cardbus Firewire card allows you to plug in a dc adaptor directly to the card such that you can use it to bus-power devices.

On the fly. I have everything categorised according to genre/sub-genre, key and tempo sorted too, so it's really quite flexible and there's very little pre-planning as to what's going to be played on the night.

oh, this is effectively just for controlling bass below 180hz and treble above 3k, I wish the blasted x-session had 3 knobs but it doesn't, so this is how i'm workin with 2!! I take care of my mid-range with the hpf of the autofilter, without the modulation. Is it just me, or does the auto-filter wi...
