Wasn't that Jesus guy from America? I see a lot of people with guns, bibles & flags.
BTW, are you talking about America as in the continents of north & south or that country known as the United States?

Re: Any guitar players in New York or Miami?
I just ordered one of these today, maybe I'll be hitting them up in a week after I learn how to demo the device.

Re: DSI Tetra
Thanks guys. At least I'm not alone here. After fiddling with it more, it is def useful to know what its faults are to work around them. I think I will keep it because it does sound nice & has a lot of sonic potential. Using M4L with it does make it better. I've also found that when it's connect...

DSI Tetra
I just picked up one & wanted to share my thoughts & see how other user's experiences are. 1. It sounds really good, not as warm & fat as a vintage synth, but still much better than the soft-synths I've tried. 2. The unit itself is extremely buggy. Editing patches is a nightmare. There i...

Session View Issues
Maybe someone can help me with this... When in the Push "Session View" & trying to launch & stop clips, every time I launch a clip on a track it makes it so every space on that track records a new clip rather than stop the clip all together. Why is it doing this & how do I stop...

Re: Best Cities With Great Music Scenes
Kompakt crew? But according to OP they are just a bunch of knob twiddlers...;-) Probably. Even though I do not know them... I just don't consider Berlin to be a serious music city & you just don't accept that fact. How many international acts came from there? Anyways I'm pretty sold on the UK a...

Nice Beatz01! That's what I'm looking for! Bristol seems pretty dope. I'm def thinking that the UK is where it's at...

Re: Contemplations
I guess, my advice is to get blown away by something and then buy it. but don't sell the Juno. That makes a lot of sense... The Juno 60 really spoils the music making experience in that it just sounds so good that after using it, it is hard to find something to take the place. I wish it was not so ...

Re: CD's and the modern world
CD's are dead IMO... But there are exceptions, if you are gigging or busking, they can be useful. Or to use then for promos. Basically, they are only useful for face-to-face transactions. On a side note, when I people giving out cassette tapes trying to be cool & retro, I want to play Hipster Sm...

Contemplations
I have a Juno 60. I love the sound. But I am considering selling to get something more portable as a I plan to do some traveling. I'm considering a synth like the DSI Tetra or something from Elektron, maybe even their new drum machine. Any other recommendations or thoughts from people who have used ...

Re: Best Cities With Great Music Scenes
I'm leaning more towards London because of the diversity. It does seem like it offers a lot more. It may be pricey, but sometimes we get what we pay for.

Re: Best Cities With Great Music Scenes
London is cool - I love it here - originally from the North West of England between Liverpool and Manchester but I would never go back there. I spent my whole adult life here. Only real downside is that it is expensive - property and rent are ridiculous. I spent a few days in Manchester, I thought ...

Re: Best Cities With Great Music Scenes
Overarching point for the OP being: there's always a bigger snob. I'm a shameless music snob. Put a link in your signature, so we can see if you have any right to be ;-) And I have no idea what autotune has to do with any of it... Fair enough. I thought I did before, but apparently I did not...
