Really? So that just fixes everything,interesting solution. Only ableton HQ knows the true version we registered for, but i guarantee you it does this all over again on version 8 too.

I got rid of the old ide audio care and got a new usb saffire 6 (ask me how wonderful the new car is and Ill tell you, ITS FINE! JUST FINE!)

anyway ableton just crashes normally now.... FIXED!

nope, it doesn't but that's an interesting bug you have there. never encountered that aprticular one myself, but i am not really suprised. seems like live was tested on one machine by one man who never did more than 5 initial tests before releasing it publicly.
