Your point about quantisation of clip triggering is a good one which I missed. Can feel like latency.

For me personally when writing a tune, I start in session view, create clips and jam with them , and then hit record, wh...

Re: SSD with Live
my understanding is that there's not a lot of point using an SSD for recording/streaming audio. No appreciable speed increase. I can't find one. What are you expecting it to contain ? where did you delete it from user library/preferences or Mac OS/library /preferences ?
Did you 'save live set as template' ?

Re: Macbook Pro freezes every hour. Crucial M4 SSD Fail
hey GUY... I bought a Crucial M4 256 GB a few months ago to replace the optical drive in my mid 2012 Macbook, but it's still lying around. Would you recommend to get rid of this thing or do you think making a firmware upgrade on a desktop and replace it like I planned would be a good choice (while ...

Re: Macbook Pro freezes every hour. Crucial M4 SSD Fail
it all sounds like abit of a nightmare! Yeah 'fraid so, although trying to establish what the issue was proved the most stressful bit. i was under the impression that cause an SSD is just ram and not physical like a harddrive its not only going to be alot faster, wear and tear on it wont happen and...
