make sure you select the rights ins and outs in the "external audio" device. also sometimes live shows different numbers for ins and outs from that what might be on your sound card. good luck.

also; audio out of the ipad and audio into your soundcard works just fine.

not sure if this answers your question, but you can set the "quantisation" of each clip = how long live waits to launch it after you click it.

there is also a global quantisation setting .. hope that helps.

yeah - check out "audition mode" in eq8 (live9). it lets you find pesky frequencies that you can reduce with a high q settings. this should let you boost the overall level or of that part of the freq range.

yeah - strange that NI (+ableton) are offering less and less basic tools and more prosumer goods. companies grow and have to increase profit margins, i guess..

someone setup a drum rack that routes all the outs within the rack. very handy and might be what you need here. google around for it and hit me up if you cant find it.
