Wow I just made it too the big 38. Not bad for a guy who at one stage was told by a Medical Specialist i wouldn't make it too 30. Rock on. I am quite proud if I may say so myself. IMHO Mastering should be nothing more than final spit'n'polish and veneer that is placed at the end of a good sounding and well produced piece of music or composition whatever the genre. Which means there shouldn't be lot of fixing it in the mix solutions and dramatic eq and compression settings etc...

To give you an idea of what to expect, I ran Live with 60 stereo audio tracks off an internal 5200RPM drive and 25 individual Stylus RMX plugins playing a complex MIDI pattern with additional FX. Only then did my MBP start to glitch out, but even then it didn't crash. It just started dropping audio...

how come you sold/gave away your stuff, FaX ? In and out of hospital some 20 odd times over 4 years (usual anywhere up too 4-6 weeks at a time) and alot of inbed recovery time at home. Though I don't own hardware anymore well bar one thing which is the first I will list here ..... This would be my top 10 from years of hardware use. Odd top ten I know and unlike alot of my buddy's I was never a huge analog gear nut and found this selection gave me a pretty unique sound to be brutal...

well, this is runnin 24 bit/96k sampling rate for both machines......that's a 512 buffer setting. ....... Work in 24/48 or 24/44.1k and then change the settings to 24/96 when you're rendering before you master and dither back down to 16/44. Easiest and most common sense way to solve your issues. I'...

I'll go into realtime X0X grid mode shortly for you also ..... You'll love the options there too. 1/4 note too 1/128th note data input with triplet subdivsions and realtime note resolution switching. X0X step sequencing all CC's , Note triggers , FX send values , Filter movements LFo clocks etc etc ...
