"I didnt find Benshink post funny." Hmm, no accounting for some tastes I guess... "While it was emotional he did have some valid points." I disagree... "Its perfectly plausable that Robert went on his own mission on this one and the company played along. How do you know ther...

Thank you Oh! Seer of Wisdom for elucidating we lesser beings! Clearly, as you have so deftly pontificated over 7 paragraphs, Operator is no mere optional upgrade, but a malicious public Id wank designed to further Robert's evil plan to monopolize the world's every technological resource and bend th...

I've been working on this little drum machine for a while and have had a lot of fun with it at shows.

Anyway, some may find it a nice complement to the impulse....

Hey Rand

I'm actually on a PC so I don't think that's the issue. If it's not a problem the Abletons are um...able to track down it may be time to invest in a faster drive for my laptop.

I experienced a similar problem some weeks ago during one show. To add some more specific criteria and details: - The Live set contains 122 scenes over 8 tracks - The glitching occurs upon launching a scene both from the keyboard, MIDI, or by using a mouse - The set in question does the same thing i...

rendering problems - Live 4.0.1

Hi Everyone Was pulling my hair out yesterday with a rendering issue. For some reason, the volume of one of my tracks took a severe dip in the middle of a 5:05 song after rendering. Thinking that it may be a VST effect related issue I deleted all VST effects from the project, resaved and tried to re...

From my perspective one can take in this "pure, unaffected" listening experience at many electronic music events on any given night in virtually any city around the world. I won't venture to claim that one sub-sub-genre present more opportunities for this than any other as that experience ...

While I'm not quite ready to be as "blunt" in my response to this as fake project,l I'm getting there : ) Whenever these issues of VSTi and enhanced MIDI support come up, I can't help but feel people are missing a great opportunity to allow Live's revolutionary feature set to influence the...

This sounds like a much better way of dealing with the MIDI and VST instrument issues to me. Live has proven to be such a ideal way for me to deal with audio, I get seriously worried about MIDI entering the equation and bogging things down. Seriously, name one other sequencing app that offers the re...
