sorry if I didnt explain myself well, I was talking about the Virus Control software for the virus Ti - not AV software - I believe virus control is available in 32 and 64 bit versions

Hello I'm just about to take receipt of a Virus Ti polar and wondered if anyone can give me the latest information on compatibility with Win7 and Live 8 I run Live 8.1 on a Windows 7 64 bit PC. I have a GA-P55-UD3 mobo, and corsair ddr3 1600 ram - I'm using the stock cooler that ships with the i5, and arctic silver paste went on the cpu. I think the gigabyte easytune software overclocks the ram as well (???) The CPU is now running at 50C, but I havent done a hard stress test. I'm massively...

wow, I've just nearly choked on my coffee
overclocked the i5 to a modest 3.0 GHz and now the test is showing 16% CPU usage

I've just built a core i5 box. My understanding is the main difference between i5 and i7 is that i7 uses hyperthreading, which Live does not support at present. My system is running very smoothly with win7 64 bit. I only have my old athlon machine to compare it to though :) Could you run the ableto...
