I'd like to finally finish a tune, upload it to Soundcloud and have poeple (gently) rip it to shreds

Hyperthreading is not supported by Live, only the presence of multiple physical CPU´s.

I've just built a core i5 box. My understanding is the main difference between i5 and i7 is that i7 uses hyperthreading, which Live does not support at present. My system is running very smoothly with win7 64 bit. I only have my old athlon machine to compare it to though
