Looks like it's just a glitch with the cpu usage meter. I made a project and stacked up lots of plugins and didn't get any drop outs or glitches and the cpu meter didn't deem to go up that much (although it did still jump around sporadically).

It doesn't just seem to be Serum. The CPU meter jumps around when using Massive and Reaktor too...?

Yeah a bit. I've just checked the task master and I've noticed that mm virus software McAfee scanner service seems to be using a lot of CPU processing. Maybe it's that? Not sure how I might disable it...?

@TO: perhaps also consider buying a PC. I have also been a mac user since about 10 years and really love the OS and everything. But macs aren`t what they once were. You have the same problems with them as with windows pcs nowadays. Also windows came a long way. And the difference in pricing is just...

Yeah, there's still loads of things they could improve with Push. Full access to Lives browser is the main one for me.

I had the same message come up with the older version of Live and Max. I just installed the older version of java and everything works fine.
