iPod earbuds are NOT in ear headphones by the way. Big difference between ear buds and in-ear monitors. I for one think they do make a huge difference, lower volumes needed for sure. I have heard Trilogy is a good one for bass but I have never tried it. I am actually doing a bass track for a song right now and am using Sampletank 2.5 It is sounding pretty good with the rest of the song.
