Re: Don't record/ignore tempo automation
Live version 10 behaves the same, so maybe not a bug, just very annoying!

Don't record/ignore tempo automation
I have tempo automation added in the arrangement view. It's too fast to play along with, so I wanted to override the tempo, slowing it down, record the part, and then re-enable the tempo automation. This is how other parameter automation works. You can override it before/while in record (Automation ...

Quacktrip online collaboration
Just gave an online class in Ableton to a friend using Quacktrip (VST3 version) http://msp.ucsd.edu/tools/quacktrip/doc.htm#more-details-about-quacktrip It is discussed here, https://cdm.link/2021/03/miller-puckette-creator-of-max-and-pd-on-how-hes-patching-his-way-to-remote-collaboration/ I'm kind ...

Re: Routing to OBS
I have a H4N, good to know. Yes, I have heard that Focusrite soundcards work.
Actually, was just checking the conversion on IIIIIII, I see we are also talking about this there

Re: Routing to OBS
Yes, I have used Soundflower in the past but it's no longer supported? Now I am using BlackHole, https://github.com/ExistentialAudio/BlackHole Seems like this is the solution to using OBS and Ableton for live streaming. I setup a Multi-Output device in Audio MIDI Setup (OSX) and monitor in Live, and...

Re: Routing to OBS
I'm on OSX. It looks like you have to use some inter-application software. I have a MOTU soundcard that can record its own output, so I thought that might be an option.

Re: Routing to OBS
I also have the same issue. I have a MOTU soundcard which allows you to recording the output/playthrough.
This is all I have found so far. https://lofi-gaming.org.uk/blog/2016/09 ... audio-obs/
Hoping for a more direct method.

Re: Clyphx pro sample accurate
Hi Darren thanks for the info, good to know. But is it always exactly 20ms, I guess not. When using the "WAIT" code I got varying results with the same value. I haven't noticed anything in the past, it's just there's a couple of quick stabs at the very beginning of where the change happens...

Clyphx pro sample accurate
Is Clyphx Pro sample accurate? I am having an issue whereby when I play from a clip with the code "[] sig 4/4 ; bpm 58" to the next clip with the code"[] bpm 191 ; sig 4/4 there is a slight lag on audio stabs at the beginning of the clip, when the 2nd clip starts, like it's taking a f...

Re: Clyphx Pro Navigate scenes jump/goto
I ended up creating 2 marcos, one each for up and down. I just repeated the words X amount of times ie for up; $up$ = up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up;up So every time I trigger that clip with a key command the page jumps up 30 scenes. P...

Session view scrolling/follow
In the session view is there away to keep the currently playing scene visible eg. A project contains 100 scenes with follow actions, when the scene playing is "off-screen" the page shifts/scrolls/follows what is playing and automatically scrolls down.
Thanks

Re: Clyphx Pro Navigate scenes jump/goto
Ok thanks. Still digesting the manual. Just to be clear, I don't want to have to create a clip for every scene I want to jump to (could be up to 50), ideally I need a couple of clips that I can assign MIDI/Key control to that jump to specific scenes, or jump by a certain number of scenes.
Thanks
