Re: White Noise Buildup

when automating track volume, don't automate the fader. Rather, drop a utility plugin on the track and automate the volume of that. To make the drawing bit easier, group the utility to a rack (right click on it), map the volume to a macro and set the maximum volume to 0 dB. This way you can change t...

Re: clip linker not working in 8.2.2, help needed

Idea for a patch. Is it doable?

Thinking about taking on a project, and I wan't to know how large it could potentially be, before I go onboard :-) basically, I want max to observe clips, and if the latest fired clip has a name ending with a number followed by "bpm", live should change to that tempo over a period of time....

Re: Exponential-curve patch for controlling MIDI?

I used this for my one-knob filter:

It's like the scale object, but better.

Re: MFL Collection by The Covert Operators

Hey Hoffman, The snapshot morpher doesn't work with "blue hand" automap. Is that fixable? Could you point me in the right direction? cheers Can you tell which controller you are using and if there's any pickup/takeover mode in use? I'm testing with a BCR2000 and it seems to work perfectly...

Re: Can I exclude tracks from scene launch?

Hmm, looks like a big task. Besides, I'm using an ipad to trigger clips and scenes, so that might complicate things further. I'll try the +4 track workaround, just hope it doesn't fuck up device assignments.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers

Re: Can I exclude tracks from scene launch?

Darren to the rescue as always :D

It's me, Klaus, one of your (lazier) beta testers

How would i go about it in M4L? Would it be a major project?

cheers

Can I exclude tracks from scene launch?

I'm using the APC40, and I want 4 tracks to be "fixed", meaning one button = one clip slot, and four tracks to function normally. This is easy enough, just mapping each matrix button to a slot, but i don't want those clips to launch when fire a scene.

suggestions?

Device.SelectParameter = id: bad number

I have a device using "Device.SelectParameter" abstraction, where I can pick first a device and then a parameter. The device seems to work as intended if i drop it in a new set, but if i drop it in my extensive DJ set, I get "bad id" when I pick a device, and the parameter box is...

Re: Hoffman2k's 16 macros and clip mapper

hey bjorn, This is excellent. Simple interface, über powerful features. Congrats on making the patch of the year. Is there any chance you'll implement saving and recalling of the macro values in Sixteen Macros? I'm using negotiators preset mapper only for that feature, and had so hoped you would pu...
