Re: Why can't I hear my plugins effects live while recording?
Some details? What specifically? When not even ableton can be clear on what they want from us newbies who are just confused by the utterly complex and often disheartening process, you know the system is fucked. More details like: - a screen shot of the Ableton Live mixer settings on the track you a...

Re: Convert Arrangement markers to session scenes?
The way I do it is: 1.In Arrangement View, right-click on a Locator (marker) and select "Loop to Next Locator" - this way the Arrangement Loop Brace will select the exact area between two locators (this locator and the next). 2. Left-click on the Arrangement Loop Brace - this selects the e...

Re: For ASIO driver, Ableton only shows 1 Audio Device
Is this is what you are seeing? Then it is correct. https://i.imgur.com/XqTuQUy.jpg ASIO will give you access to all the inputs available on the driver supporting the one audio device (or multiple devices showing as one if you are using several RME cards, for example), so there is no need to give yo...

Re: Cue Volume MIDI Mapping?
Cue / Solo (Preview) Volume is MIDI mappable, but it seems that you have to be in Session View to assign it for some reason - in Arrangement View it is not mappable. Once you assign it in Session View, it works in Arrangement View as well. You can see it in the image below (ignore the red highlights...

Well the first thing that comes to mind is that maybe you are recording in Mono. What is your setup to get the audio into Live and then inside of Live?

If you want better performance, install and use ASIO drivers made for your card.

Re: Zero latency monitoring of microphone?
Depending on the ASIO driver written for your card, it may be possible. Some offer non-exclusive mode for example. It is best to see with the manufacturer or their forums / manual for more details on this. But there are things to bear in mind. What is it that you really want? As you can't have it al...

Re: Zero latency monitoring of microphone?
Are you using the ASIO or Core Audio drivers? You pretty much can't achieve low latency without using one of those drivers. Im on windows so im using the 'DX' drivers. ASIO drivers are for Windows. The ASIO drivers that come with your audio interface (they have to be downloaded and installed) are T...

Re: Sharing ableton sound on zoom on a PC
If you want to talk also at the same time, you basically need to send a mix of all your sound to the one Zoom "mic input". Either a sound card with loopback or Voicemeter Banana works well. You will also need to use the Zoom desktop version for this, not the browser version.

Re: Reverse Loop Sample
Hi!
In Simpler:
- To loop back and forth you have to turn Warp on. Then chose the "Mode" you want to loop in.
- If you want the sample to play backwards first - reverse the sample: Right click in the sample region, choose "Reverse Sample"

Re: Exclusive Arm ?
Ah ok I see. I understand that exclusive should mean one only, but.... In this case I perhaps don't understand what are your expectations in that scenario exactly? Why are you taking one action (trying to arm both at the same time), but expecting something opposite to happen (to have only one be arm...
