I killed the Automap server, shutdown Live 7, reran the Automap 4.1 installer and updated the RemoteSL Compact 25. Automap now works for any VST plugins within Live when using preset 38. Got the same problem with a ReMOTE 25SL Compact. Using Template 40 gives 'Ableton is OFFLINE'. The keys, pads and rotaries are all sending MIDI ok, but there's no automap at all.

Nope. Nothing to do with AbletonLiveDJ. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and all that.

Finally raised the old hosts who are supposed to do the renewal automatically. Should be back up within the next 12 hours. My advice is to start drinking heavily in the meantime.

Same thing happened last year. It's set to auto-renew, I'm billed, and it's paid, then the bloody thing expires. I'm on it. Why do these things happen at the bloody weekend? Strange thing is, half the people I've spoken to can still reach it, and I can still post on the forum...

There wasn't a 'Resources' CD included with my Remote SL 25 Compact that's just arrived too. There's an Excite + Pack CD, but no drivers or anything. Off to Novation I go...

Any thoughts on how it handles in Live, Broken Chip? I'm sorely tempted to pick one up...
