Re: Live 9 User Interface - Text is Very Small
Maybe a little bit, but when I'm in Ableton Live, I'm usually not also working on my photos or graphic arts in the same screen. Maybe one day I could have been tempted, but now it's good to have focus in life... ...besides, I once saw a kid about 16-17 years old riding his bike and texting on...

Re: Before playing own tracks, mastering? Help taming sounds
Another question for the OP: will there BE a sound guy, or is it all on you?

Re: Before playing own tracks, mastering? Help taming sounds
Congratulations on the gigs! First off...indoor gig, or outdoor gig? Big space or small? Lots of people or just a few? These things will matter. Is it possible to do a "dress rehearsal" at the venue? Would be difficult if your gig makes you you rely on other people's amp and speaker equipment. But i...

Re: Maschine Expansions
They get away with it because the products sell well. Even I bought Push and Live, and I studied the EULA beforehand. Native Instruments' language only says what you CAN'T do, whereas I find Ableton's language just specific enough to leave me in doubt about some things. If you're going to use Ableto...

Re: Got & read the new 556-page Sweetwater catalog. And I want..
I want to bring some guitars and basses in to have the actions adjusted (I can never seem to get it right), but I'm afraid the place will close doors while my instruments are in there. There was a camera store chain that recently closed, and people had a lot of equipment they couldn't get back. Yuck...

Okay, now I feel like a knucklehead!
But that works wonderfully, so thank you!
Don't know why I didn't see it before, sheesh.

Re: Maschine Expansions
Expansions for Maschine (and other NI software) often are just new presets. Very useful if you're looking for idea generators... ...or even outright "appropriation". NI's EULA allows the use of their presets or sounds in your musical content, even if it's for commercial use. There's not even a blurb...

Re: Why is there in 2014 still no easy solution for lowlatency?
I know that some DAW software allows you to specify "direct monitoring". Or it used to. This would allow your audio interface to send you a dry signal back to your headphones, bypassing the processing being done by your DAW. The drawback to this method is that you don't hear the exact same thing tha...

Live 9 User Interface - Text is Very Small
Hello from a new Live 9 and Push user. Live 9 seems to have a very small user interface text size. I have good vision, but I wonder if we'll all be in trouble reading this product in 20-30 years. The UI text for buttons, drop-down menus, and even the tutorial window on the right side is all so small...
