Phew. You are lucky then. This week I heard "waav" a few times watching Sonic States Messe coverage.
Nick Batt always says "waav" and I think I heard the WaveLab guy say "waav" too!

9.6.1 Where is it?
Doesn't Ableton release these right around trade shows like Musik MESSE?

*.wav files pronounced WAV or WAVE --- it's WAVE!
Why do some people pronounce it wav. It's wave not wav! It makes me bonkers to hear wav and not wave. I think it's the Brits fault. They also pronounce *.dll as "Dill" and not "dee el el" That makes me bonkers too. I know I should be open minded but it makes me bonkers. This is k...

Re: Cut MIDI clip
If you mean snip the clip in half or something like that as in Cubase you can't! It drives me bonkers.

All it will take is a 3D printer that can print LPs. If there isn't one already.

Re: Making use of old computers?
Make your current computer a "music only" computer, take it off the net.
Make your old computer your "not music" computer, use it for everything else.
Just a suggestion.

I hope we get some action from DSI. My Tempest would be super awesome if it just worked a bit better.

Re: CPU
IMHO the newer CPU's like Skylake are all about saving power. I guess it's for the earth or something :) I have two rigs with Haswell CPUs which IMHO were that last powerful CPU's from Intel. Sure they run hotter but they overclock like mad. And just have raw power. Also if you go with Haswell the 1...

Re: Chromaphone2 - demo sounds amazing . . .
Yes, definitely worth the upgrade price. Chromaphone 2 is in that category of virtual synthesizers that try to actually recreate the sounds of real instruments. I think it totally succeeds in recreating struck, plucked, and bowed instruments. You can also use Cromaphone 2 to create some very weird a...

Re: MPC 1000 vs. Maschine mikro
The MPC1K is awesome in so many ways. It's a sampler, it's a drum machine, it's a rocking sequencer with two MIDI ins and outs, it has a custom OS available -JJOS, it can be customized to look really cool, it's built like a tank, it's a drum pad controller. The MPC1K has very good midi timing for ve...

Are you using the audio that is built into the laptop or are you using a separate audio interface?

n00b forum - Users' Help Exchange - closed - EPIC FAIL
:Rant On: I can't help but notice that IMHO the Ableton closure of Users' Help Exchange - closed has been a complete an utter failure. The Music and Audio Production forum is completely full of questions that should be in https://www.ableton.com/answers. I know the the MODS do the best they can but ...

SP404sx
Plus: battery operated, light weight, nice bright buttons
Minus: Irrational key combinations for common tasks, kinda big, no velocity sensitivity.

Is the GUI 3D? You know old fashioned 3D with the glasses with a red and green lens. I don't have the glasses so I can't test.
