Re: Lately I've been getting tiny little crackles
Hm, well it might not be the motu. I tried a bunch of things and was still having the issue, so I left and came back and fiddled with the set and I realized the crackles stopped. So I look at whats different now and the only thing Im noticing thats changed is that Im no longer routing my send tracks...

Re: Lately I've been getting tiny little crackles
Yeah what are the odds on him asking about that specific one and me actually having it? Bizarre. I'm gonna look into the issue there and hopefully won't experience it anymore.H20nly wrote: of all the sound cards... what are the odds?
it sounds like leaving the Motu running is the issue, not Live/computer.

Re: Lately I've been getting tiny little crackles
You don't happen to have a MOTU Ultralite mk3 Hybrid do you? I've been getting the same thing occasionally, but only when I leave it running for most of the day. Aha, thats what Im using. I do leave it running however I still get the issue even if I restart live. Maybe reboot the motu or the whole ...

Lately I've been getting tiny little crackles
They are very small and happen only about every 20 seconds or so but they are annoying. I'm not sure if it's my latency settings or what. I've tried turning delay compensation off, I've tried playing with the latency settings. I've changed the apc-40 midi options around. Haven't found a fix yet. I'm...

Re: Midi beat repeat M4L plugin...
It can probably be done but there are challenges. I made a midi looper and realized that stuck notes are an issue because sometimes you start looping a section before a note off message is recorded. I can send cc123 at 0 to kill stuck notes but I havent found the perfect method to make it all work r...

Free max device to control samplers MIDI section
I made a Max device I think Sampler lovers would like. http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/1941/sampler-control From the maxforlive.com page: "This is a really simple utility for Sampler. It only sends Modwheel, Foot Ctrl and Aftertouch. I made it because Sampler has certain functions anno...

Re: LIVE 9.1 ...PDC..so what ?
We can speculate all day what it is, but in the end there is NO WAY they've been in beta for the period of time they have been. ABSOLUTELY zero percent chance of that. this is purely speculation. Bitwig beta 1.27.4.11.210 was released yesterday. Its almost like they plan on releasing it AFTER the b...

Re: How you killed the business of music
Johnisfaster. Very cool video One has to remember is one is talking about success in music or success in the music business. As the video points out. They are not the same thing. Nor are they mutually exclusive. Certainly not the same thing, but I see parallels. Video just like music is hugely over...

Re: How you killed the business of music
While I agree with most of the sentiments here I do have to say that I think there is still a place for truly talented innovative and motivated people to make a living doing what they do. Most people don't see that cause truly talented innovative and motivated people are rare. It's one thing to look...
