don't close the plugin with the "x" in the top right corner of the plugin's window - only open/close plugins with the wrench icon. also this may have something to do with cracked copies...

I know someone out there has thought about this before... anyone??

when I record something with my midi controller, the midi notes are often longer than the sample they are triggering - is there a way to trim the ends of the midi notes to the sample length so you can visually see when the audio is stopping?

When changing audio clips the tails (reverb, delay, etc) get cut abrubtly... I've done some searching and realized I can put these effects on a return track and the tails will play but I don't like the idea of having a bunch of return tracks with different effects / complex routing and what not - I ...

anybody seen this before?

also forgot to mention that I can see/use ableton's panel where it puts all of the vst's parameters on sliders but I don't want to use that, I would rather use the plugin's standalone window...

I can't see/find my plugin's windows! I click on the wrench icon on the top of the vst, nothing. I tried Ctrl-alt-P and nothing. I have the right track selected, and I have Multiple Plugin windows ON, Auto-hide OFF, Auto-open editor ON. Anyone have this happen before?

its on the master track in the bottom right hand corner, I'm not at home but I think its called "cue volume" - the manual is a pretty good source of info for easy stuff like that...

just drag the effect you want from the browser onto the drum rack pad with your high hat, etc. you can drop an effect on the whole track, or on the individual pads...

it seems like you have a little learning to do so I might google for some tips on DJ eq-ing or making mashups... BUT heres my two cents to get you started - take the track you want "on top" and throw a high pass filter on it and move the frequency up and down until the bass is quiet enough...

so do you feel like it is too quiet in the club? is it lacking bass or a punch? might be able to say something if I knew more about what the problem is, but listening to the track is seems to me like your drums could use some fattening...

Ok, I guess I don't understand why it doesn't get the "note on" message when the 4bar loop consist of a note 4bars long, but it does when you shorten the note to not take up the whole loop....
