Im looking forward to buy one of these small soundcards just for gigs using live and a macbook pro. I just need a good sound, low latency, a volume control knob for the headphones, and drivers that are nice with my cpu. try deleting your ableton preferences folder... that worked for me...
also, u should know that only a few plugins are available for macintel right now.

the plugs are universal binaries. i deleted my preferences folder and the problem is gone. : )
