might be even simpler... a lot of daws put 0db on the meter where it clips... ableton starts showing red when you get to -6db. So just from there, your file, if you're not going into the red, will be 6 db lower (real clipping doesn't start in live until you get to about +6 on the meter). Current 'b...

The most helpful thing I can think of is to send a support request with all the details because it shouldn't be any less loud unless some type of setting or rule within Live is making it so.
