Supposed to be fix(ing?) it for Live 9 to work with newer Kontakt version(s), no clue on Live 8, i.e. they're going to leave us hanging out to dry forcing us to upgrade if we want to be able to use them in Sampler. Thanks Ableton..... Where do they say it's supposed to be fixed in live 9? Last time...

Can't import kontakt patches for about 3 years. No change in live 9 Starting with Kontakt 4, patches are encrypted. No other programs can import them. Looper won't let you separate each layer. I use session view and m4l to assign the pedal to fire successive clip slots

I haven't been able to import kontakt patches for years. So annoying. Every few months I send them another bug report in hopes that they'll do something about it, but nothing yet. Don't hold your breath
