Rgr, I tried some other ones to see, but of those that I tried, only this one in particular had the issue.Valiumdupeuple wrote:Yep, there's a known GUI problems with M4L devices. It supposed to be on the fix list.

Envelope Follower being visible makes ableton super chunky++
When I add an Envelope Follower and if it's present on the screen, it will cause live to slow down to super chunky state... If I move the live device window horizontally so that none of the Envelope Follower object is visible, live starts to function smoothly. Also if I group the object and close th...

Make sure you run the WLC application and register the plugin, then alt + open the application.

Re: Waves PlugIns in Live 9
I had a problem with some VST/AU and Live 9 see this thread. https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=193302 Basically the solution is go to file / folder in preferences hold 'alt' and press 'rescan plugins'. This will trigger a deeper rescan. ...or this, which is basically what I forced ...

Re: Waves PlugIns in Live 9
Delete the "WaveShell-VST 9.2_x64.dll" in your 64bit VST directory. Run Ableton Live 64bit Close Ableton Live 64bit Copy the "WaveShell-VST 9.2_x64.dll" from your "C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Waveshells" directory Run Ableton Live 64bit It should work now... I believe...

[Electronica] First new song with Live 9...
No live instruments were used, other than the drums... A 707 kit and an acoustic kit.
I couldn't use some of my normal plugs, because I started making the transition to the 64bit DAW.

Re: Monitors are hissing!
Use the Saffire 6 w/ balanced cables.
Try to keep them off the ground and perpendicular to cables that are not audio cables.
If you have any white noise hiss, turn the monitors volume down and add gain from the interface instead.
If that doesn't help, try a hum-x, etc.

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta soon...
Is there any plans for Ableton Live to support 32bit plugins in the 64bit host w/o a 3rd party bridge?
Bitwig does this... Very big feature. Plus planned native OSC support.
I'm in no rush to be switching DAWs, but some features can hold serious weight...

Re: Compare EQ settings
I keep an empty/muted track with an EQ8 on it.
Whenever I boost a frequency in a major way on another track, or if I know the fundamental frequency response that a track is eating up, I do this same to this track.
You could also write it down on a piece of paper, notepad, etc.
