Re: ???

What an idiotic idea, I have been lurking on this forum way before I bought my copy of Live 4 (and now Live 5). This place has been invaluable in my decision to take the plunge. This should not only be a place for people who currently own Live, but also for people who are planning to. ~chewy Like i...

hey lola, This point has been raised a few times before, and usually what comes out of it is that people who are using a demo version really like being able to ask stupid questions here. :) Which is fine if we all don't mind helping out a newbie once in a while. I suppose it encourages new users wh...

Re: back to basic training

I know I'll still have to use my ears of course but I know I don't want to be bringing them up to the top like that. it's also a problem of me using my stereo speakers which exagerate the bass and exagerate the stereo image. ugh... stupid bad mixing habits... There u go, u answered your question. s...

Re: Crackheads

Is there not a way to make this forum for legal users only, like cubase did? I think its so fucking lame to ask for support while u did not invest a bit. Ok call me egoistic, but i pay for updates and support development. I like it to stay that way, would not like it that abe pulled the plug. Cubas...

Re: Abelton Live : I Dont Get It?

I've got Logic and a few other things. I also got Live but for the life of me I cant see what to do with it. As a rewire to Logic what use is it? All it seems to do is play loops? I feel I'm missing the point. If anyones got any tip or pointers or any ideas how I might put it to some use please let...

increase start impulse

Hi I was trying to use impulse for making 4 segments of 1 breakbeat. U know, the drum and bass way of editing. 4 segments of the same break, 1 beginning with the kick one slot with the beginning of the snare and so on. But i couldn't cuz the amount of startpoint editing was to small. could not even ...

Sorry for beeing offtopic. For me the best music was made already in the past, by James Stinson, to bad he died. James was the man behind Drexciya, japanese telecom and many others. I think he had also something to do with doppler effect, glass domain and such. He made the best music since a long lo...
