if you show the automation lane for the PB range in Analog, you don't get the grid that is available with Operator's.
even worse, if you copy some automation made on Operator's PB range and paste it on Analog's PB range automation, you'll get a different result.

check with the new beta (902b2), they fixed something related.

play a MIDI clip with long held notes
switch OVR on
while 1 note is playing, start recording (F9)
-> the note gets cut
