wow both of these are good sources. but the first is all about the Andromeda. I dont have one ..(yet). i can still learn about some synths from the site. downloaded some clips from the A6 and they sound so cool. wish i had 5g to pluck down for one

does anyone know of a really really good book that explains everything synthesis?

manuals often provide some info but im looking for something more in depth and focused to teaching the reading all about electronic synthesis and sound.

i turned on "show hidden folders" and i even turned on "show system files" but i see no machfive vst file or folder anywhere. where is : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VST

nope there are no such folders. i even did a search on "VST" and no such folder exists. and wouldnt a system file be under the folder "Windows" not "Program Files"?. well i checked both and no vst folder was created. by default i would think it would be next to the DXi ...

i forgot to add that I ended up clicking "NO" when it asked me to choose another vst folder. what happends is the rest of the program is installed just fine. i dont think its installing any of the vst version of the program. under explorer there is no VST folder just a DXi, Interlok driver...

When i go through the installation process it gives you the option to install the "vst" version. i check the box and click on ok it starts to install the program. then all of a sudden a window poppes up and says "do you want another VST plugins folder to install MachFive?". Ok fi...

it helps if you mail them the receipt email "in text" that way they have all the info on your product and can verify you are the rightful owner. i always do that whenever i send them an email about new product keys.

ok i found a work around. if the play button up at the top(corralating to the arrangment view) keeps playing, the drum machine will not get triggered without that midi clip playing in the session view.

damit problem not solved. its still acting up. every time i trigger a loop it tells my drum machine to start playing. what is happaning?? i did not have this problem before i reformatted.
