If I’m not mistaken, the AT 2035 is a condenser mic. So I would recommend the Shure in your scenario. And, adding a compressor plugin to the track should help maintain a more even result

@Martin Gifford - it’s not a sin to put reverb on the Master, but try putting it on a Send instead. Turn it to 100% wet and then mix the Send knob of your tracks into it. That way you have more control over how much reverb is on each track vs. having the same amount on all tracks
