Push with NI Battery 4...How do I disable scales?
So I'm trying to use Push with Battery 4. I created 64 cells/pads, but I can't set PUSH to 64 unique notes. It repeats notes along the way, making impossible to use 64 pads in Battery. How can I disable the scales and just have a range of notes?

It's possibly a weird bug in Kontakt that didnt get squashed. Are you using an audio interface when doing this?

Re: Multi-timbral VSTis in A9 - What is best practice?
JB I don't seem to be able to delete any aux outputs from within K5 gui. Could you explain that a little. Not sure what you mean when you say I no longer do this direct through ableton, but through Vienna Ensemble Pro. Oh yea my bad, just leave the aux. As long as you have enough channels excluding...

Re: Multi-timbral VSTis in A9 - What is best practice?
using multiple instances with one instrument per-instance is no longer the CPU issue it used to be, for most modern home systems. and it results in a much less cluttered mixer / channel setup, not to mention all the routing work it saves you. come to think of it, I can't think of a single benefit o...

Re: Multi-timbral VSTis in A9 - What is best practice?
Gotta play the video in HD I also posted an update video of how the latest version of Kontakt automatically sets the output once you have the blank instruments setup. As for your midi issue, watch closely as I set each midi channel separate as well as audio. Make your synth's local midi is OFF . Thi...

Re: Heat concern for my new MBP pro
Please note that plastic computers get just as hot if not more...but you won't feel it because the heat is trapped and only gets out where the fan blows. Macs feel hot because it releases the heat everywhere it can. This actually allows it to push harder. I definitely know how to push a computer to ...

Re: Heat concern for my new MBP pro
The have the 15" Retina 2.8 maxed out. I push it hard too, running Ableton with EastWest, Komplete, and Spectrasonics products along with VE Pro on the same system and using as much of the 16GB of ram as I can. Max temperature I've seen is 113C. Keep in mind this is while the macbook is running...
