Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?
How about the latency of the time line in piano roll view when adding more plugins with latency. Is that still behaving like in Live 8 ??? It's so late I don't wanna look at it anymore. I mean that is just too funny when it still is... Oh common, that is wrong from the first day of Live 8 ! :r...

Re: Ableton is the best
Just read this on a website, must slip it into some Gearslutz threads! "I've been using computers to help make music for around 10 years, starting with Cubase, then Logic, then Pro Tools and finally Ableton Live. Right now, there is no alternative for me, Ableton live is the best single progra...

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?
The only thing Ableton gave a damn about was their new controller so they could make bigger margins - same with Live8 and the APC... without core improvements, Live9 is pathetic, session automation should've been there all along and won't even work well without proper PDC, the browser is rudimentar...

Re: LIVE 9 AND REWIRE - CAN WE AT LAST USE 3RD PARTY PLUGS?
For people who use Protools this woulkd be a great helper to use VST-Plugins through Live. But I think that Abletons have difficulties all the time since they "experimenting" with VST. The way how Live treat's VST's is not stable, not efficient and not close to be good. It's just O.K., but...

Re: Presonus Studio One v2 - 50% Off - Today only
i have been eager to switch from protools mixing after using it for 10 years. tried reaper and loved it, however the deep customizations of the app started to take more interest than it should so i gave s1 a go. it was great decision, s1 is THE modern daw; simple yet customizable enough by being no...

Re: Presonus Studio One v2 - 50% Off - Today only
I own and use Studio One V.2 -- it's the best, IMO, of the "traditional" flavor DAWs, far better organized and streamlined than Cubase or Logic. but to those of you thinking it as a *replacement* for Live, I'd seriously ask yourself: do you like writing music without Session View? S1 is p...

Re: Presonus Studio One v2 - 50% Off - Today only
yea i liked it just from using the old Artist v1. just about to upgrade it to v2 Pro for £39 :!: How, where? I have two Studio 1 Artist licenses that I never used. At such price definitely worth upgrading. I spent some time with the developers, from what they showed me the hottest part is the maste...

Can Push cook my meals and order some food for my fridge ?
If not I request...:
...a built in microwave for food breaks during music production.
...and also..., a air-conditioner for hot days !

Re: Presonus Studio One v2 - 50% Off - Today only
...use it already, cause of the same workflow like Live8(yeah they copied many Live-Features), but has much better CPU usage and VST-plugin handling then Live8. Live8 rewired into StudioOne is just amazing for me. Switching to work at 32 or 64 bit is so cool... The native effects in S1 are the best ...

Re: New live 9 audio to midi feature.
I was actually thinking the same...
Someone will record his farts, make a hit and we all think,
..."what a talent he/she is"...!
Maybe he/she invents a new style and calls it Poopstep !!
Thanks Ableton...
