Re: Help- Need to map mod wheel
I think I've come up with a fix...
I edited one of the faders of the MPD to send CC1...this solves my problem.

[SOLVED] Help- Need to map mod wheel
Hey guys, I have a Prophet 08 Module...which will respond to the mod wheel....the problem is I don't have a controller that has a mod wheel. I have Push, a Midi Fighter Pro, and a MPD 32. Is there a way to one of the sliders or knobs of my controllers to the mod wheel CC? I believe it's CC 1....just...

Re: Windows users: Crash question
Hi, thanks for the reply. Are you on Windows and are you saying that you have used your process to enable Live with rebooting? I haven't had the specific problem you've had, but in the past I have had programs fail to terminate and have sometimes been able to resolve the problem by finding a USB MI...

Re: Windows users: Crash question
The first thing I would check is whether all of the MIDI devices connected to your computer have been closed correctly. One way to do this might be to run another MIDI application such as MIDI OX and see whether it is possible to communicate with every device. If it is not, try disconnecting the ha...

Windows users: Crash question
For those of you that use Windows....when Live crashes I ALWAYS have to completely restart my computer before Live will open again. If I don't restart my computer the Live icon does not open Live when I click on it. Are you guys experiencing the same? Is the a reason why this happens,...and most imp...

Live 9 64 bit running Windows 7
I'm getting occasional crashes also. I'm using Push and many of the crashes I've encountered I attribute to the communication between Live and Push. I don't get a ton of crashes and for the most part I'd say it's pretty stable but there are times where I can tell something gets bottlenecked (for lac...

Re: Thoughts on Push a few weeks on?
I'd also like to mention why Push is so awesome to me-- As a guitar player my skills are sub par when it comes to keyboard playing. I know music theory but translating the theory I know over to a standard keyboard while keeping a high level of expression has always been a challenge. Push has bridged...

Re: Thoughts on Push a few weeks on?
Push is AMAZING! I honestly could use it as is without any further updates from Ableton and be completely happy and satisfied with the purchase. That said, sure there are little things here and there that would make Push better and I'm sure Ableton have plans to implement most of the feature people ...

Re: Woah...The Max 4 Live Compressor!
Let me know what you think....I think it's very unique. Try the drums setting and adjust the threshold, attack etc until you hear something interesting. It has much more character than a "typical" compressor IMO.

Woah...The Max 4 Live Compressor!
Have you guys played with the compressor that comes with Max 4 Live/Suite? I'm I crazy or is this thing not like your average compressor in it's sonic sculpting potential? It almost feels like an advanced transit shaper.
