Groove Should Also Affect Controllers In A Clip
... otherwise the Groove function is only half usable. It might not be a concern for everyone, but it really is for me. I make a 16th quantized midi clip, with different values of one controller at each 16th step, i add a groove and some randomness in the timing, and if i record the result into anot...

Groove Function Half Useless
Something that always bothered me but never cared to talk about : I can't believe Ableton didn't try to see things a little more from the user's point of view when they implemented the groove function in Live 8 : Groove only affects notes of a clip and not the controller values attached to it. 8O Th...

8.1.1 -no RAM reset on new set -still active after quit
Hi, A problem i had with 8.1.0 as well as now with 8.1.1 : The RAM usage keeps stacking on each new set i open. Most of the time i have to quit Live in order to load a new set, otherwise it just crashes, because of insufficient ram, as i can see in the task manager of windows xp. Also, Live is still...

Re: Amazing pentatonic scale video!!
So much love for the great Bobby over here...
Thank you! I didn't know this video.
And i warmly recommend "Medicine Music", just him, multitracked, and some moments are just really wild and goosebumpy

Re: Brian Eno in conversation
I find it particularly interesting when he talks about collaborations, and what you get from them. That it's worth it alone for hearing your own work differently when somebody else is present. It's quite logical and obvious, but I just always love the way he expresses things so eloquantly and with ...

Re: Got a new track for you to listen to
Roland, how are you man? Just heard Elyseum. Well, this bass sound is just superbly gritty, organic and imperfect, very pleasant physically also. The tune is great, flows naturally, guess it originated as an impro, it was a very nice experience, all the more that i'll remain a big fan of early 80's ...

Re: Follow action on scenes
Bump!
Added with this, it would start to get really interesting.
I always thought Ableton would push follow actions further in Live7 and Live8.
Big wish

Re: Follow Action Groups!
But currently follow action cannot jump from one group to another group, right? Actions between groups would be also very useful thing to have. Then you could have actions similar that are available to clips now: -jump to a clip in next group -jump to other group -jump to first/last group Yes! Bump...
