Re: How to fix free tempo?
I'd use a tempo master track in Arrangement. Thank you very much. Is there any available tutorial on this? In the Manual there is an explanation at: 9.2.1 Tempo Master/Slave ...but I am unsure how it could be implemented. I want to edit the tempo without changing the MIDI execution speed (similar i...

How to fix free tempo?
What is the best way to fix tempo modulations, beat mapping, measure and beat positions in free improvisation? Is it possible, if yes and how: - to assign beat or measure to a note? - to assign beat or measure to a marker? - to record beats in a MIDI track (by playing one note) and assign that track...

Push 1 LED lamps of another track
Hello.
I have recorded material in Track 1, and I want to record in Track 2. However, I would like to "see" on Push what is played on Track 1 (keyboard LED lights, green).
Unfortunately, when I change to Track 2, it doesn't display Track 1.
Possible to see another tracks in different color?

Group effect
Hello.
Can MIDI tracks be grouped in such way that I can apply MIDI effects to the group?
For instance, I want to change scale to all channels at the same time.

Re: creativity in Ableton
I am a 'classical-contemporary' composer, only instrumental and acoustic (orchestra, vocal). I use Push and Ableton to find many new ways to compose and improvise. Well enough?

Push standby, how do you do?
Hi guys. I have Push 1. In my studio I use Push and Live very regularly but also not evenly, so I don't turn my computer off but put just on standby (close lid or whatever). But my Push has light on. How good is to do it? Sometimes one day I am off, sometimes few hours etc. How durable is Push to ke...

Re: Assign one keyswitch to multiple buttons
Dear everyone, I have several tracks, some of them use same MIDI effects. Is it possible to turn on/off these effects for multiple tracks by assigning ONE MIDI/KEY controller which would affect more than one effect in more than one track? Or for example, is it possible to map ONE key/controller in ...

Re: Play legato
What you are asking for sounds like the behavior of the glide/legato function in Analog in mono mode. What instruments are you using? I use brass sounds (trumpets etc). Therefore I don't need the pedal sound. The MIDI should be adjusted automatically during recording, so that if you play staccato t...

Re: Play legato
As for a pedal, what you're describing is exactly what a sustain pedal does. Actually, it doesn't. The sustain pedal sustains the played notes. It means that until you depress it, the notes are sounding (or after a while). Sustain pedal does not play legato, but makes overlap by sustaining. It is a...

Play legato
Hello all. Is there any tool that would allow playing legato on MIDI? What I mean is to keep the sound until the next note is played, a kind of "legato" button in the editor, but live performed. A pedal use would be good to have. So, when pedal is kept pressed down, the legato would be in ...
