Once you have your audio claps out in the rhythm you want, just consolidate them into what ever length, then slice to midi, then extract the groove from the midi clip that you've already composed and apply the groove to the new clap midi clip. This sound interesting. The only stretch I've done has been on audio. What does stretch midi note do? I assume there is cut up loop in Sampler, or? Or is it a Simpler function? In the older versions of Live you could open up a midi clip and highlight the notes and right click on them and then choos...

Hi Umbra88,

The stretch midi note function is now built in to the midi window so isn't in the options that pop up when you right click on the highlighted notes. Have a look above the first and last midi notes, you should see the markers that you click on.

Anyone used or still using a Presonus FireStudio 26x26 with Live?

(1) make a sound and record it. (2) duplicate it. (3) phase reverse the second one. Sound cancels out perfectly. (4) slap spectrum analyser on one Sound still cancels percectly. Therefore spectrum has no effect on the audio. This science stuff is dangerous. Burn him! re:dream turned me into a newt!...

Using Live since v5 in 2006, used Reason before that (had a go on Cubase, Acid Pro & Sonar but went with Reason then Live then both together! I do have Cubase 5 too tho) Yeah been using Live for a while now, no number one hits yet tho???!!!
