Re: Sine wave from Analog synth has extra partials?
You want to tell me that analog synth cant producer propper sinewaves? some minimal distortion hardly cant be called a partial No, I don't find it at all improbable that an analogue synth attempting to produce a sine wave will have overtones at -45dB. You'll note that OP says he sees it in the spec...

Re: Sine wave from Analog synth has extra partials?
I am assuming that this is an artifact of Analog's attempt to simulate classic analog synths, flaws and all; . that would be my guess a sine on a classical analog has no partials.. Err. Yes it does. You're not going to get a pure sine wave out of analogue circuitry, it's always going to get distort...

Re: Gonjasufi - A Sufi & A Killer
edit -- I see he's from San Francisco. Wonder why he /isn't/ on Anticon then From Bleep: "Featuring production from the heart of the Brainfeeder, Gaslamp Killer and Flying Lotus." That's pretty much why he isn't on Anticon. That, and he'd have to be stupid to pick release on Anticon over ...

Re: Gonjasufi - A Sufi & A Killer
So anyway, the album... I really think he should've cut it down to 12 tracks or so. I got bored by the end on my first listen. It might grow on me though. Generally I quite like the production though. Reminds me a lot of a lot of what's on the Anticon label. edit -- I see he's from San Francisco. Wo...

Re: [ot] is english the easiest language or something...?
Isn't it also true that English is a very flexible language in terms of being able to create and assimilate new words? I've heard that before, seems true, not a linguist. All languages have loan words and handle them just fine. Really. An example: a lot of plurals of nouns in Classic Arabic are wha...

Re: [ot] is english the easiest language or something...?
You mean like I go out vs Tonight go I out ? They call it V2 (verb-second) word order. Danish (my first language) has it as well. It's fucking annoying when you're writing. And I'm very glad I don't have to learn it as an adult... As for Dutch and English, I think historically English is a descendan...

Re: [ot] is english the easiest language or something...?
in english the verb "to say" is the same for every person except the third one that adds an S , but in spanish...every person has it's own way to write and pronounce every verb. Yeah, but on the other hand in Spanish you can drop the pronoun so really you're just adding an element after t...
