Re: Deadmau5 Latency Issue tracking vocals
What an epic thread. I read (nearly) all of it... Just wanted to chime in with all this: I didn't see anyone mention using your ears (I may have missed it)... Alls I'm saying is: latency or no... If it sounds like you want, don't worry about a few milliseconds here or there... If you're getting phas...

Re: APC40 mkii - MIDI mapping LEDs & momentary behaviour
I only chose the apc40 in the first place because I needn't to buy a controller on the spot to do a set in a hurry, and I needed faders, and knobs... And I was at a guitar center, wasn't thinking in a modular sense at the time, and the apc40 was the only thing which looked like it could do the job.....

Re: APC40 mkii - MIDI mapping LEDs & momentary behaviour
I'm considering just getting a different controller, and either adding to the setup, or swapping the apc40 out and getting something which doesn't have so many redundant functions due to me having push 2...

Re: APC40 mkii - MIDI mapping LEDs & momentary behaviour
I've been looking further into this... And it seems like the apc40mk2 was left out of a seemingly abundant wealth of easy to use scripts...
Looks like some other controllers are just waaaaaaay easier to customize...
This is the impression I'm getting... Can anyone speak to this?
Any suggestions?

That sounds very promising. My apologies if I didn't make it clear that I meant audio (I probably didn't...)chapelier fou wrote:Then if you're talking of audio clips, load them in Simplers nested in an Instrument Rack. Spread all chains on the chain selector and use it to scroll.
You're a legend, thankyou.

Re: Play next/previous clip
Map the "scene selection" button. Map the "general clip launch" button from your track. Thanks for your suggestion. This will likely do the job, but not really as I had imagined it, and therefore sounds like it would be a bit clumsy compared to what I was hoping for... I was hop...

APC40 mkii - MIDI mapping LEDs & momentary behaviour
Hey there, pals, I've spent at least an hour or so trying to suss this via research, but to no avail... Anyone have any luck gettin the APC40mk2 pads to light up or light off when you active / deactivate functions? When I use MIDI mapping mode to control buttons in ableton using the pads on the APC,...

Hey there pals, I had a good search for this, but to no avail, still apologies if it's out there already... I was thinking about a workflow where I would dedicate two midi buttons to flick through drum loops, while cuing them up... But I can't find any option anywhere to do this... Anyone know of a ...

Re: APC40 MK2
Hey my dudes, I've been looking around for a lil controller to simply give me extra knobs for my apc40mk2... I've looked far and wide, but I can't see anyone doing what I had in mind: A lot of controllers seem to have row(s) of 8 knobs, so it made sense to me to place it above the 8 tracks of the ap...

Probably not the solution you were after, but a foot controller could be super usefulness for you.

Re: Sound system (DJ) session tips
The first question when talking about a performance template in this case is "do you want your computer to have its eyes roll into it's head and completely ignore you for a half a minute while you're in front of people in the booth/on stage?" So maybe converting and slicing are not tricks...

Anything other than mouse would be so good.
I can't be the only one, right? I know some people are happy to use the mouse, but I really dislike it, and i know a bunch of people who feel the same.
