try a different algorithm, like re-pitch or complex, etc... try them out if one might work better then the other. also, if you transpose down, maybe try to apply a tiny bit (really just a notch, nothing radical) EQ after transposing to lift the mid/highs a tad and make them 'cut' through a bit more ...

You only need to drag it once, from then on its just a double-click on any clip to get full screen and getting back to Arrange view is shift/Tab. depending on what you need... editing midi and doing other tasks in between, you need to permanently mouse around and drag windows back and forth. what y...

the quickest way in OSX i find is to use the info manager, press command+alt+i when you have highlighted an audio file (or any other file, app or folder for that matter), that command instead of just command+i (for open info) opens the info manager and then you just highlight one after the other and...
