Open a window!
get some fresh air into your room asap! move equipment / things away from walls - basically allow the air to circulate! Dab bleach onto the areas where the mould is developing.
...and don't breathe anymore until the mould has gone.

You're asking for Sampler to decide for you which rootkey should be changed and which not.. There's no way in hell that any sampler can figure that one out without some random results. If you insert 6 samples (C1 - C2 - C3 -....) And then try to distribute the ranges, it works. If you insert 6 samp...

i'll try that out thanks don't understand though why Sampler can't do this - did the coders at Ableton forget to add the 'if view = "Vel" then distributeVelocities(sampleNo, velRangeLo, velRangeHi) else if view = "Key" then distributeSamples(sampleNo, keyRangeLo, keyRangeHi)' sta...

Sampler: Distribute Zones Equally not working in 'Key' view
it works fine in 'Vel' view, why not in 'Key' view!!!?
anyone managed to do this in 'Key' view? or do you really have to change zones by hand for each and every sample in 'Key' view?

Dear Angelina Jolie - Adopt me!
Dear Angelina Jolie, I'm a cute little english boy 4 (going on 30), my parents are getting fed up supporting my music ambitions and they do horrible things to me like forcing me to listen to Elvis records etc So please, Angelina (or can I call you Mummy already?) put me on your list for future adopt...

They probably changed the magazine name to 'FutureHype'
If you want the the musical-tabloid equivalent of TheSun go for it - otherwise if you want a seriously good non-hype-broadsheet go for Sound-On-Sound magazine (also from the UK). It's reviews are much better, and it has excellent tutorials.

i) Sometimes a complete track plays, at other times, I've got clips of entirely different tracks (pre-warped to keep the timing together) playing simultaneously - by using EQs etc on each track you can then combine beats / melodies / sounds from the various tracks into one new mix on the fly. ii) an...

yep!
more ram really makes things nice! Last month I upgraded my OSX machine from 512MB to 3.5GB - it doesn't page anymore between the SWAP disk and RAM!! Which makes things nice & fast! the main reason for the upgrade was for playing the Essential Instrument Collection, with only 512MB many of the s...

6 is definately a rock solid, and complete release.. definately NOT 5 was much more stable. 1) I had live 6 crash just trying to extend two clips simultaneously to their full durations in the arrange window 2) Loop points jump around when trying to select them (with midi clips) 3) Live 6 doesn't li...

remember that the founders of Ableton stem from NI - I don't know it that has something to do with the fact that Reaktor is so unstable within Live (or that Live is so unstable when running Reaktor!) Live crashes so often within Live with certain Ensembles that I tend to resort to using Reaktor with...
