Doesn't phpBB have a way of reporting this kind of thing? If so, can someone turn it on?

Search YouTube for "ableton live recording midi controller" and you'll find a lot more.

Googling (well, startpage.com-ing) "midi to notation" turned this up as the first link. And it appears to be free. Looks like it imports MIDI files, but I have never used it. I did find MuseScore in my own Google search but couldn't see any option to import MIDI files when I first looked....

A friend of mine wants to record herself playing her recorder (instrument) then have that turned into musical notation. I know that Live 9 can convert audio to midi, but does anyone know of a way of converting a midi file to musical notation? Or of another complete solution to the problem? Apologies...

I'm also new to Live and I had this problem. This is what fixed it for me. Also, see the Setting up an audio interface video at Learn Live to get your latency as low as possible.
